In the early hours of Sunday morning Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, launched the publicity campaign for her solo career in Ibiza, with a 2.15 am press conference followed by a “play back” performance of her one song “Out of Your Mind” which was released yesterday. Yesterday two Spice Girls, both of whom have visited Ibiza this summer, went head–to–head for next week's number one after Melanie C stormed to the top of the charts with her new release. Now Posh Spice Victoria Beckham's first solo effort will compete with her Spice Girl colleague's latest chart success. Mel C's I Turn To You went straight in at the top, knocking Robbie Williams down to number two. The ex–Take That! idol's third number one, Rock DJ, had shot to the top of the singles charts, cementing his reputation as one of pop's biggest stars, but stayed there for just seven days. Next week's chart battleground will be just as fierce. Posh Spice Victoria geared up the publicity campaign for her first solo single Out of your Mind by performing in front of 5'000 clubbers in Ibiza.
