Sources close to the family of missing Danish tourist Ivan Andersen told the Bulletin last night that the Danish embassy in Madrid is putting pressure on the Spanish authorities to send a search team to Majorca to help find the 48-year-old father of three who has not been seen since he walked out of Son Dureta hospital in Palma on the night on July 10 in a very confused state of mind. Unconfirmed reports last night suggested that the military may even be brought in to help find Andersen, whose family is now convinced is still alive after a number of sightings in Plaza d'España and the Arenal area. All of the Danish family searching for Andersen, has now returned to Denmark. His sister and brother-in-law Tage and Lis Nyrup returned on Sunday night after a hectic week trying to find the missing man. However, by walking the streets of Palma and the Playa de Palma showing a photograph of Andersen to anybody and everybody, it appears that he is still alive.
