Balearic Chief Minister Francesc Antich has gone digital - giving the people the opportunity to E-mail their questions and queries direct to the top levels of local government, from any points in the Balearics. The Balearic government's website has recently been restructured and members of the community will be able to check the Chief Minister's daily movements, debates, read his curriculum vitae and E-mail the leader of the regional government. The Balearic Minister for Innovation and Energy, Misericordia Ramón, explained yesterday that the remodelling of the Chief Minister's website has been done in order to bring him and his departments closer to the people, who will now be able to send their complaints and concerns direct to the Chief Minister. The new website will also include the Official State Bulletin for the Balearics of events of the past seven days and can be accessed for free. Director General for Technology and Communications, Carles Bona, said yesterday that over the internet people will be able to check the Official Bulletin and even check information regarding traffic fines by just entering a name, as opposed to searching through the entire list.
