McDonald's has opened its first restaurant in Campos, marking the 22nd McDonald's site across Mallorca. This opening has generated 40 new jobs locally, strengthening the fast food chain’s footprint in the Balearics and reflecting its commitment to regional economic growth.
The premises cover a total built area of 340 m², including a 190 m² terrace for people to dine outdoors. Customers benefit from a range of services such as digital self-service kiosks, table service, and the widely used McAuto option for ordering directly from their vehicles. Additionally, the restaurant supports the "Order and Pay" platform, allowing users to place orders remotely and choose their preferred pickup method.
Patricia Abril, franchisee of the new establishment, expressed her enthusiasm: "I am very excited about this opening in Campos, an opportunity to bring the best McDonald's experience to everyone who choose us in our beloved island of Mallorca. And we do so with a firm commitment to continue contributing to its sustainable development through the creation of quality employment, support for the local economy and a strong service vocation towards our customers."
Facilities and services available
The Campos restaurant includes facilities designed to cater to varied customer needs, notably an outdoor children's play area. This space has been created to offer families a complete experience while visiting the establishment.
Menu options go beyond McDonald’s classic offerings, featuring items from the McCafé range, which specialises in coffee and bakery products. Visitors can enjoy hot beverages, smoothies, milkshakes and a selection of cakes and pastries.
Technological elements play a prominent role within the restaurant. The presence of digital kiosks enables customers to independently customise orders. For those preferring traditional service, table service is available. The McAuto is a particularly popular feature, streamlining order collection without customers needing to leave their vehicles, helping to reduce waiting times.
