Lidl has introduced its latest range of waterproof trainers, available in-store now. Priced under €15, these women's shoes aim to meet growing demand for affordable, functional and stylish winter footwear. Shoppers seeking a reliable option for rainy conditions will find both design and sustainability features integrated into this launch, which is attracting significant attention among value-minded customers.

The new trainers are built with a water-resistant outer fabric, designed to keep feet dry during wet weather. Aimed at both urban wear and light outdoor use, they let wearers walk through puddles and damp environments without worry. Each pair is constructed with a cushioned EVA sole, promoting lightweight comfort and shock absorption—an asset on city pavements. The trainers also include a removable insole and soft textile lining for added comfort, with the option to swap out the insole as needed.

Functional features for urban conditions

Reflective accents have been positioned on the shoes to boost visibility in low light, directly addressing safety needs for early morning or evening commutes. The range comes in several colour combinations, including black with blue and blue with green, offering versatility for both sport-inspired and casual city outfits.

Sustainable materials recognised by GRS

Highlighting Lidl's environmental focus, these trainers are produced using recycled materials certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). This aspect underscores the retailer's commitment to reducing environmental impact, responding to a growing preference among buyers for responsible, ethical products. Lidl's emphasis on sustainability goes hand in hand with accessibility and quality, providing daily practicality alongside eco-friendly assurances.
