At the other end of the scale, Menorca tops the price charts. A CEPSA in Mahon sells petrol at 1.849€ per litre, with three other CEPSA sites at 1.799€ in Alaior and Ferreries. A Galp in Es Mercadal ranks fifth (1.719€). On the mainland, the most expensive is Mirasierra in Granada at 1.890€.
FACUA says Balearic prices range from 1.408€ to 1.849€ – a difference of 31.3% – based on August data from the Spanish Government.
The group also compared diesel prices. The cheapest is again Just Fuel in Felanitx (1.359€), followed by four Autonetoil stations in Palma (1.369€–1.379€). Menorca’s CEPSA stations are the priciest at 1.799€.
FACUA analysed 10,033 petrol stations across Spain and says drivers could save hundreds of euros a year by shopping around.
