King should put Trump in check

Britain has been very badly treated by Trump and they should hurt him where it hurts; no King at his big celebrations

I have always wondered about the Special Relationship and I have always come to the same conclusion; it is more special to Britain than the United States. Ever since the Trump administration came to power they have been kicking Britain in the teeth, from free-speech to tariffs. Even the Mayor of London has been in the firing line.

It is rather embarrassing to watch Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer trying to defend the undefendable. The time has come for Britain and everyone else to tell the Trump administration to take a run and jump. They can’t continue to humiliate countries which have been loyal allies for many years. They can’t use their bully boy tactics on their friends. If they think it is acceptable, then they must realise that the special relationship is not that special at all.

Perhaps the time has come to hit “our acquaintances” across the Atlantic where it hurts. No British royal representation at their 250 independence celebrations. The only thing that seems to matter to Donald Trump about Britain is the royal family. So the royals stay at home. I know it will be seen as a snub to the American people but you can’t treat a good friend like a whipping boy. Enjoy your celebrations Trump, you might find a few people missing.
