Much has been made of the anti-tourism marches in Mallorca over the last 12 months but what hasn´t made the headlines is the love for British holidaymakers in the traditional resorts in Calvia. At the opening ceremont of the annual convention of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) in Magalluf on Monday night you could feel the great friendship which exists between the British and Mallorcan travel industry. It is a relationship which has been built over many years, ABTA held their first convention in Mallorca in 1972. This relationship has flourished and I suspect it will continue to do so.
