Who is more popular in the British media ... Sir Keir Starmer or Mallorca? Both have got a good caning over recent months in the media. To some extent the criticism was fair and balanced and probably deserved, but you do get the impression that Mallorca and the prime minister are the two which certain sections of the media love to hate.

We are the source of many stories that appear in the UK press, which is not surprising when you consider that our website has more than one million monthly readers. However, what actually appears in Britain has little or nothing to do with the original story which we have published. The UK press needs to start loving Mallorca again.

Yes, there are problems on the island but you can still have a wonderful holiday for a competitive price and Mallorca is Britain's favourite holiday spot.

As regards to the prime minister, well I was no fan but in my humble opinion he is not doing a bad job. Britain, unless there is action from Israel, is prepared to recognise Palestine. Headline in leading UK daily: Starmer surrenders to Hamas!

Imagine if Liz Truss or even Boris Johnson had received the same media treatment, we might have been spared their awful premierships! Mallorca is a fantastic place and the Prime Minister deserves a chance. It is called fair play.
