Eva Longoria, one of Hollywood’s most recognisable stars, recently combined work with sport during her time in Mallorca. While filming her upcoming project The Last Sunrise, the actress visited the prestigious Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Manacor, where she showed off her love and talent for padel.

The American actress, who has been filming scenes at the stunning Sa Fortaleza estate in Pollensa, made time to enjoy the academy’s world-class courts. The Last Sunrise, directed by Carlson Young and adapted by Anna Klassen, is backed by a powerhouse production team including Anna Todd, Jennifer Gibgoy, Andrew Panay, Brian Pitt, and Lena Panay.

During her visit, Longoria caught up with Maribel Nadal, the academy’s deputy general director, a familiar face from their shared involvement in the Hexagon Cup. Their friendship stems from the competition, where Longoria’s Eleven Eleven team regularly goes head-to-head with the Rafa Nadal Academy team. She also had the chance to meet padel world number one Gemma Triay, a native of nearby Menorca.

Beyond her sporting passions, Eva Longoria has built an impressive career as an actress, producer, and director. Rising to fame through her iconic role in Desperate Housewives, she went on to establish herself as a force both in front of and behind the camera.

Longoria has since directed feature films, championed diverse storytelling, and used her platform to advocate for representation and social causes, cementing her status as one of the most versatile figures in the entertainment industry.
