The Council of Mallorca is backing technology to transform the tourist industry. On their website and using artificial intelligence they have created a one stop platform with all the relevant information which a visiting tourist could need from what is happening on the island to how to rent a car.
The Council said that technology would allow tourists to have a better stay on Mallorca. At the same time it would allow the industry to be more environmentally friendly. Jose Marcial, chief of the tourism department, said that this new platform was a major step forward and would enhance the visitor experience.
