This update comes as the airline continues its ongoing talks with fuel providers, who have indicated a rise in fuel production and additional imports from regions not affected by the Middle East conflict.
These developments support Jet2's plans to proceed with its flying programme as planned, ensuring holidaymakers can look forward to their bookings without the worry of last-minute adjustments. Last week, Jet2 topped a UK resilience ranking, recognised as the most protected British airline against volatile fuel prices.
Jet2 has already confirmed it will operate as normal for the summer season and was notably the first UK airline and tour operator to assure customers it will not impose surcharges on any booked flights or holidays to offset fuel cost rises. This means that the price paid at booking will remain unchanged, as Jet2 has removed any surcharge clauses across all flights and holiday packages—even though these surcharges were never implemented.
The airline continues to engage closely with fuel suppliers, with CEO Steve Heapy stating: "We are in regular dialogue with our fuel suppliers, and the current picture is one of increased production and imports, meaning we continue to look ahead with confidence." He reiterated, "We have already been very clear about our plans to operate our schedule as normal this summer, and our message to holidaymakers is that summer is on."
