The superyacht community came together in style last Friday, 1 May, as Superyacht Charities hosted its seventh annual Seafarers Supper in Palma, coinciding with the renowned Palma International Boat Show. Held at the stunning Ca n’Eduardo, the evening once again proved to be a standout occasion in the industry’s social calendar.
The event was hosted by Liam Dobbin, trustee of Superyacht Charities and Managing Director of Wilsonhalligan Recruitment. Bringing together professionals from across the sector, the Seafarers Supper offered guests the opportunity to network, reconnect with industry peers, meet new faces, and enjoy an evening of exceptional food and entertainment.
Known for its vibrant atmosphere, the annual event featured a raffle and auction with an array of sought-after items, while attendees indulged in a delicious dining experience, all in support of meaningful charitable causes.
This year’s supper was headlined by PIB Insurance Brokers, with welcome drinks generously sponsored by ISC Finishing. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and guests alike, the evening successfully raised over €20,000.
Funds raised will support Yachting Gives Back and Fundació Joves Navegants. Founded in 1992 by members of Mallorca’s yachting community, Fundació Joves Navegants was established to give back locally by introducing young people to the sea and providing opportunities through sailing.
Superyacht Charities has confirmed it will return to Palma later this year for its annual Golf Event on 15 October, continuing its mission to bring the industry together in support of worthy causes.
