Dear Sir,
Jason Moore and Ray Fleming argued the pros and cons of extending the time British expats are allowed to vote in UK general elections.
Are the British expats the only nationals disenfranchised the EU?
The EU allows citizens to move to work, or live in other EU countries, how many millions loose their voting rights?
In my opinion it is up to EU to decide in which country you should allowed to vote. One equitable solution would be to vote in the country where you pay your taxes.
We have been here over thirty years and are deemed competent to vote in municipal and EU elections, so why not national elections?
I think we should be putting the pressure on the Spanish government, who gratefully accept our taxes.
