Dear Sir,
With regards to Andy Charltons letter (22-10-2011) I feel that I have to disagree with him entirely.
I own an apartment in Magalluf, so am a frequent user of the transport system, especially the buses. To me they are on time, and extremely good value.
We always get the bus from the airport to the bus station, and a bus from there to Magalluf. We always get a seat. While in Majorca this year we used the bus to go to Soller. We have used the train to visit Sineau.
There are buses and trains that go all over the island. I do agree that they can get crowded, but that just shows you how popular they are.
Has Mr Charlton ever been on a bus or train in London, he would know what overcrowding meant. As for the price of a cab, I personally think they are expensive, but no different to any other capital.
