Dear Editor: OUR family have taken many holidays in Spain & feel that the British & Spanish can learn from each other.
For instance, the British can learn from the Spanish how to make houses and costal resorts look beautiful with their lovely architecture, use of marble & colourful flowers.
The Spanish can learn from the British about safety, such as marking the edges of steps with a line of contrasting colour to make them visible and in having non-slip surfaces in bathrooms. It is quite common to see limbs in plaster among holiday makers in Spain. Such simple measures would make a real improvement.
