Dear Sir,
I do not believe in the war with Iraq without the full approval of the UN. I know that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a dictator, but he is not the only one in the world and is George W Bush going to take all dictators one at a time? I have an uncomfortable feeling that once he gets the bit between his teeth he will go on to invade North Korea, Yemen and anyone else he thinks fit. The war will not affect my holiday plans to Majorca as I have had a home here for nearly 20 years and intend to carry on staying on the island as I have in the past during peace and war. If flights are cancelled it may be difficult, this is one disadvantage of being an island. My experience of the euro is an expensive one, prices in the Balearics have soared in the last year. The prices went up so the tourists didn't come high prices can mean less profit small return quick turnover is the answer. Let's hope that the shops and bars do not put their prices up again in line with inflation as they usually do at this time of year, it won't help. I do not think Britain should join the euro, France and Germany have shown their true colours in the last couple of weeks, they want to control everything in Europe to their own advantage.
Kind Regards
