Cala Bona/Cala Millor needs to clean-up its act

Dear Sir,
I holiday in Majorca some three or four times a year usually in the Cala Bona and Cala Millor with my wife and have to say how much I enjoy reading your publication, its usually the first thing I buy when we get there and find it both interesting and informative.

I noticed recently comments about the numbers of German tourists being down this year, this hardly surprises me after seeing the state of the beaches in this particular area, we have seen a deterioration in the condition of the beaches this year and nothing appears to be getting done about it.

The main problem being the deep layer of seaweed that has accumulated which is both unsightly and dirty and the stench in some parts is unacceptable, this has been on the beaches all year and there has been little or no effort to remove it.

This is a lovely area but the problem with the beaches is driving people away.
