Dear Sir, every winter for the last seven years we have holidayed in Majorca. We have two holidays per year of at least four weeks duration, but our holiday this year has been turned into a nightmare for the last three weeks at a Palma Nova hotel. Every night we and scores of other holidaymakers are putting tables and chairs at the back of doors tying clothes lines to Patio doors to radiators to keep out burglars after three weeks of thefts and robberies at all times of the day and night.
We booked a Golden Years holiday at a cost of £1418, our hotel has lots of children and teenagers it is fully inclusive and 2/3rds are on last minute bookings at approx £300. It is definitely not a Golden Years hotel. A petition was signed by more than 120 people to express their fear and disappointment.
We have had meetings and sleepless nights all to no avail.
Majorca, Calvia and Airtours please take note, you have a lovely island but lots of disappointed holidaymakers.
We do not come on holiday to barracade ourselves in our rooms.
