Dear Sir, I have been privileged to visit your beautiful island on many occasions over the past 33 years.I recall the original Majorcan hospitality before internationalisation.
What wonderful scenery, and the superb walks throughout the island. Last week I returned to Camp de Mar and was amazed by the changes and development in just two years. When following the footpath to Cap Andritxol I was dismayed to find high fences were being erected blocking the marked footpath.
Could this be some rich person intent upon developing their own private compound? Have they applied to build a mansion? Have the Planning Authorities given consent?
I fear,if the answer is yes; then there is great danger that the indigenous population together with the tourists will be deprived of one of the great attractions of the island.
