Dear Sir,
After reading the headline in yesterday's Bulletin, and as a British resident here in Mallorca, I was annoyed to see, on my journey from Santa Ponsa to Son Caliu, firstly at the roundabout on the beach at Santa Ponsa, the petunias being battered by being over-zealously watered in the heat of the day, by, I assume, a council gardener. Then from Palma Nova to Son Caliu, huge amounts of water being used to water Palm trees, and also from Aguapark to Pirates another avenue of trees being watered by hosepipe, left on continuously. Is this the water that we are supposed to be so carefully saving. Do the council use depurated water, or does it just come from the mains?
I would be very interested to know.
