Four Seasons Resort Mallorca in Formentor will reopen on 18 March to mark the start of its 2026 season, presenting a refreshed focus on wellness and local cuisine. This facility is the second Four Seasons property established in Spain and is located in one of Mallorca's most iconic natural settings.

The reopening comes amid a rising interest in wellness tourism, a key trend this year. The resort aims to become a benchmark in the wellness sector by offering an extensive range of services and activities that foster a connection between visitors and Mallorca's natural environment.

Set to open its doors in time for the Easter period, the resort has developed a tailored programme that caters to both adults and families, integrating health, leisure, and cultural experiences.

Complete spa renovation featuring international brands

The spa has undergone a full refurbishment and now incorporates four leading wellness brands: Biologique Recherche, Sepai, Seaskin for Life, and Gaia Natural Product. These treatments utilise local natural elements to deliver luxury wellness experiences.

A standout offering is the "7 Step Skin Journey" by Biologique Recherche, which consists of seven monthly facial treatments designed to adapt to seasonal skin needs. Starting in April with "Spring Harmony," the schedule continues through October with sessions including "Cellular Defense," "Summer Radiance," "Eternal Glow," "Perfection & Reset," "Oval & Eye Contour Lift," and concludes with "Eye & Lip Renewal." Each treatment includes a complimentary skin diagnosis via Skin Instant Lab, enabling guests to monitor skin progress and receive tailored care advice.

Among notable body treatments is the Endospheres x Sepai therapy, which combines micro-compressive vibration with lymphatic drainage. This revitalising technique improves circulation, supports detoxification, reduces fluid retention, smooths cellulite, and sculpts body contours with both instant and cumulative effects.

Outdoor activities to explore Mallorca's surroundings

Complementing the spa services, the resort offers outdoor programmes such as the Hiking Program and Cycling Program, featuring guided routes through Mallorca's most celebrated landscapes.

Special experiences like "Dawn with Dolphins" and "Mallorca from Above" are also available, aiming to heighten guests' interaction with the island's natural beauty. Additionally, visitors can enjoy strolls through the resort gardens, beach meditation sessions, and various recreational activities in open-air settings.

Local gastronomy with a global touch

The resort's culinary offerings emphasise a farm-to-table philosophy infused with international influences. The restaurant Shima focuses on Nikkei cuisine—a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavours—presented through dishes characterised by freshness and contrasting elements, paired with signature cocktails and sea views.

From May 1st, Llum i Sal will serve lunches, adding dinner service from May 15th. This venue honours maritime traditions with dishes like bluefin tuna belly, gratinéed razor clams, and shared rice dishes made with fresh catch from local Pollensa fishermen.

Mel restaurant embraces seasonal menus grounded in local produce, continuing the farm-to-table approach. Meanwhile, Cercle operates as the hotel's bar, featuring select wines and cocktails that reinterpret native ingredients.

Private dining options include vineyard dinners at sunset, gourmet picnics in garden spots, open-air cinema screenings, and intimate beachside cabana meals. The hotel is also expanding its culinary initiatives with concepts such as "A Legacy of Land and Flavour" and "Mallorca's Culinary Heritage."

Special Easter programming

Throughout Easter, the resort will run a variety of activities for both adults and children. These include pottery and painting workshops suitable for all ages, along with an "Easter Egg Hunt" for children within the resort grounds.

A "Golden Egg" challenge will involve guests of all ages following maps and clues to discover the hidden golden egg. On March 29th and April 5th, family Sunday lunches under the theme "Arroces y Sobremesa" will be held at Quiosc, featuring à la carte menus with a paella and rice station.

On April 1st, an "Easter Movie" open-air cinema event will be organised for families. A "Cocktail Speakeasy" on April 3rd, hosted at a secret location, is designed for adults seeking an exclusive experience.

The Easter Brunch Market on April 4th will open at midday with local brand stalls, live entertainment, and a small petting farm for children. Additionally, the spa will host a Biologique Recherche masterclass focused on skin and wellness care.

Throughout the week, various workshops will be available, including Easter cookie decoration, local tea and infusion tastings, and egg decorating sessions. Special activities will continue with a Wine Masterclass at Formentor vineyard on April 2nd and a complimentary Wine Tasting event at the hotel.
