A fire broke out late last night at a hotel in Playa de Muro, shortly after 11.20 p.m. The blaze began on the first floor but was swiftly contained thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire service, preventing it from spreading further.
Early indications suggest the fire was sparked by a generator, which produces electricity through combustion. Fortunately, no guest rooms were affected, as the incident occurred in an outdoor area of the property away from holidaymakers.
Fire crews from Mallorca, including units from the Alcudia station, rushed to the scene and worked to extinguish the flames. The blaze was brought fully under control by around 12.15 a.m., with no injuries reported.
