This week’s cinema highlight is Wuthering Heights (2026), directed by Emerald Fennell, a passionate and tumultuous retelling of the classic Brontë tale starring Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, exploring the destructive love between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw. Also new is the family-friendly sports adventure Goat (2026), in which a determined young goat pursues his dream to compete in the high-intensity game of roarball.
In time for Valentine’s Day, romantic favourites return to the big screen: (500) Days of Summer (2009), 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), and Baz Luhrmann’s modernised Romeo + Juliet (1996).
Still showing are Josh Safdie’s Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated drama Marty Supreme (2025), Chloé Zhao’s period tragedy Hamnet (2025), and James Cameron’s epic Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025).
