Mallorca is alive with winter celebrations, led by the island’s much-loved Sant Antoni fiestas, filling towns with fire, music and tradition. From Manacor, Sa Pobla, Muro and Pollensa to Son Servera and Porto Cristo, expect demon dances, correfocs, pipers, bonfires, barbecues and the haunting goigs sung in honour of the saint. Children’s events, giants, folk dancing and community fairs run throughout the weekend, while in Palma the Sant Sebastià fiestas officially kick off alongside concerts and theatre. It’s one of the most atmospheric weeks in the Mallorcan calendar.
