Palma has officially confirmed details of the 2026 Three Kings Parade, which will take place on Monday, January 5th and feature more than 20 newly designed floats, bringing colour, magic and tradition to the city’s streets.
According to the councillor for Education and Citizen Participation, Lourdes Roca, this year’s parade will be “completely new”, with 22 floats created specifically for the 2026 edition. When contributions from other organisations are included, the total rises to 24 floats, along with a bus and two festive trains.
As tradition dictates, the parade will begin at 6pm from the Moll Vell, symbolising the arrival of the Three Kings by sea to Palma. From there, the royal procession will travel through the heart of the historic centre, allowing thousands of residents and visitors to enjoy one of Mallorca’s most cherished festive events.
The route will pass along Avenida Antoni Maura, Passeig del Born, Plaza del Rey Juan Carlos I, Calle Unión and La Rambla, before continuing via Calle del Barón de Pinopar, Avenida de Alemania, Avenida de Portugal, Passeig de Mallorca and Avenida Jaume III. The parade will then return to the Born area, finishing at Plaza de la Reina.
Palma City Council is coordinating a comprehensive security operation, with Local Police, emergency services and civil protection teams deployed along the route. Authorities are advising families to arrive early to secure good viewing spots, and designated areas will be available for people with reduced mobility and children.
The Three Kings Parade remains one of the most important events in Mallorca’s festive calendar, maintaining its traditional sea arrival at the Moll Vell while continuing to evolve with new floats and performances for each generation.
