On December 23, Palma will be full of magic and excitement with the eagerly awaited Christmas parade of Father Christmas. From 7pm, the city’s streets will come alive with a colourful procession packed with music, lights, and entertainment for the whole family. This year’s parade promises to be extra special, featuring themed floats with beloved Disney characters, a lively party starring the cheeky Minions, and the much-anticipated arrival of Father Christmas, accompanied by his merry band of elves.
The official route starts at Calle Eusebio Estada, with floats making their way along Avenida Gaspar Bennazar, continuing down Calle Jacint Verdaguer, and finishing at Calle Julián Gayarre. Taking place on December 23 at 7pm, this parade is one of the standout events in Palma’s festive calendar.
After the colourful procession, the celebrations continue with a grand finale on Calle Julián Gayarre, offering a full programme of activities. Highlights include a special stage where visitors can get their p photo taken with Father Christmas, capturing unforgettable memories of the day. Food lovers can enjoy treats from the ‘Baking Dreams’ food truck, with all proceeds going towards supporting local students’ school trips.
Adding to the festive spirit, the lively batucada group ‘Tambors per la Pau’ will bring energy and rhythm to close the afternoon on a high note. Visitors will also have the chance to get up close to the floats in an exhibition, perfect for admiring their detail and taking photographs to remember this magical day.
