Get ready for a lovely weekend in Magalluf! The sun and clouds are teaming up to keep things interesting. Friday kicks off mostly cloudy, with a comfy high of 25°C and a low of 16°C—plus, hardly any rain to worry about! Saturday morning might start a little cloudy, but don’t worry—the afternoon will bring some cheerful sunshine, with highs around 26°C and evenings cooling down to 19°C. Sunday looks like a perfect mix of sun and clouds, with daytime temps hitting 25°C and nights around 18°C.

And the sunny vibes continue into the week! Monday is shaping up to be a delight, with sunny skies, highs of 25°C, and a pleasant 17°C at night. Tuesday stays mostly sunny and just a tad humid, with highs of 25°C and lows of 17°C. Wednesday will see the sun shining bright, keeping things warm and lovely at 25°C during the day and 18°C at night.

The rest of the island is looking at pretty much the same sort of weather, with no weather warnings in place for any parts of Mallorca, only sunshine!

What to do on the island

🔴 Mallorca Burger Fest: From 2 to 5 October, Palma’s Son Fusteret becomes burger heaven with the Mallorca Burger Fest! Featuring 20 food trucks and stalls serving everything from classic favourites to inventive gourmet creations, it’s a paradise for food lovers. The festival also offers live music, DJ sets, and children’s activities on Saturday and Sunday mornings, making it perfect for families or a fun day out with friends. Entry is free, parking is available, and public transport is easy, so all that’s left is deciding how many burgers you can try before the grand finale on Sunday.

🔴 Festival of Expanded Literature: On the cultural side, Magaluf will come alive with the Festival of Expanded Literature (FLEM) from 2–5 October at Innside Calvià Beach hotel, organised by Rata Corner and INNSiDE by Meliá. British novelist Helen Fielding, creator of Bridget Jones, will appear on Saturday 4 October for an interview with Juliana Canet and a book signing at 2pm.

🔴 Mallorca Women’s Championships: From 4 to 12 October, the Mallorca Country Club in Santa Ponsa hosts the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Women’s Championships, a brand-new WTA 125 tournament bringing together 32 international players, tennis stars, and celebrities for a week of sport and entertainment. Legendary Argentine Gabriela Sabatini serves as tournament ambassador, joining the celebrity padel event and presenting the winner’s trophy. Local talent is also on display, with Cristina Díaz making her debut in a major international tournament on home clay, and Yvonne Cavallé defending her colors in doubles. The international field includes top-ranked players like Elsa Jacquemot, Solana Sierra, and Mayar Sherif, alongside rising Spanish stars. Early rounds will also take place at Magalluf’s sports center, with free entry on 4 and 5 October, while general and VIP tickets range from €15–€130. This exciting event highlights Mallorca’s ambition to become a premier destination for women’s tennis.

🔴 Monsters World Tour: For adrenaline seekers, the Monsters World Tour rolls into Mallorca from 4 to 19 October at Son Fusteret, bringing heart-pounding monster truck action. Expect jaw-dropping stunts like 180° and 360° drifts, two-wheeled tricks, and high-flying jumps over vehicles. The highlight is The Meg, a shark-shaped monster truck making its island debut. Shows run Thursday to Sunday in the afternoons and evenings, with convenient parking and public transport access—an unforgettable thrill for friends and family alike.

🔴 Esporles Sweet Fair: Esporles comes alive with the Fira Dolça, a celebration of sweets and local culture on Sunday, October 5. From 9:30am, stroll Passeig Rei and enjoy pastries, cakes, chocolate, and other treats. The morning kicks off with a Giants and pipers procession, followed at 10:30am by a lively parade featuring giants, pipers, a music band, and a batucada. At noon, head to the Canonge Garau car park for a thrilling chain-saw competition, then watch human towers at 12:30pm. In the afternoon and evening, enjoy live bands and DJs from 4pm to midnight, and at 5pm, join in traditional folk dancing with Ramellets and Aires des Pla.

🔴 Valldemossa Moors and Christians Fiestas: On Saturday, October 4, Valldemossa celebrates its Moors and Christians Fiestas with a day full of tradition and excitement. At 12 noon, Captain Ramon Gual-Desmur calls for the Christians at Plaça Pública, while in the late afternoon, peasants gather by the church, Moors by the municipal warehouse, and Christians—36 men and their captain—assemble in Carrer Ramon Gual. At 6:30pm, bells ring to signal the Moors’ arrival, building up to the dramatic battle at 7:30pm in Plaça Cartoixa. The festivities wrap up with a barbecue at 8:30pm at Costa Nord, making it a perfect mix of history, spectacle, and local flavour.

🔴 Palma Cathedral Terraces: The terraces of the Cathedral of Mallorca offer one of the most spectacular views in the Balearics from an iconic landmark. The self-guided tour provides sweeping panoramas of the Mediterranean and Palma’s skyline, along with up-close views of the Cathedral’s intricate architecture, including the famous rose window, soaring flying buttresses, and bell tower. It’s also a rare moment of tranquillity above the bustling city streets. Open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4:30pm and Saturday from 10am to 1:30pm, the terraces provide a fresh way to experience La Seu. 🔴 Markets: Mallorca's weekly markets are a vibrant way to experience local life, with each day offering a new selection of towns and treasures.

Monday: Caimari (Selva), Cala Millor, Calvia, Lloret de Vistalegre, Manacor, Mancor de la Vall and Montuiri. In Palma the Plaza Mayor (except December, January and February).

Tuesday: Alcudia, s’Alqueria Blanca (Santanyi), s’Arenal (Llucmajor), Arta, Campanet, Can Pastilla, Llubi, es Pla de na Tesa (Marratxi), Paguera, Pina, Porreres, Portocolom and Santa Margalida. Palma: Santa Catalina (Carrer Soler, 25) and an ecological market at Plaza Bisbe Berenguer de Palou (aka: Plaza dels Patins).

Wednesday: Andratx, s’Arenal (Plaza dels Nins), Bunyola, sa Cabana (Marratxi), Capdepera, Cas Concos (Felanitx), Deya, El Toro, Llucmajor (Passieg Jaume III), Llucmajor (Maioris), Las Palmeras, Petra, Puerto Pollensa, sa Rapita, Selva, Sencelles, Sineu and Vilafranca de Bonany.
