Palma Airport ended April with 3,089,279 passengers passing through, representing a 2.6 percent increase compared to the same month last year. This means that the number of people using the airport in a single month was three times the population of the island which stands at one million.
International traffic accounted for the largest number of travelers, with 2,304,644, 3.1% more than last year. Meanwhile, domestic traffic reached 782,789 passengers, a figure representing a 1.3% increase compared to April 2025.
In terms of operations, the Mallorcan airport handled 22,699 flights (including takeoffs and landings), representing a 0.7% increase compared to the same month last year.
Between January and April, Palma de Mallorca Airport recorded 6,591,108 passengers, a figure reflecting a 1% change compared to the same period last year. During this period, 53,039 operations were carried out, a figure identical to that recorded in the same month of 2025.
This period included the busy Easter holiday when a record number of people passed through the airport.
