Wizz Air adds direct flights between Palma to Naples from May

The route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Wizz Air has unveiled three new routes from Spain for the summer season, further expanding its network in Southern Europe. The new services will link Palma with Naples and Bilbao with Milan Malpensa in Italy, and, Santander with Sofia in Bulgaria.

The first of the new routes will launch on 31 March 2026, with a direct connection between Santander and Sofia. The service will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with introductory fares starting from €39.99.

Wizz Air will then reinforce air links between Spain and Italy from 11 May 2026 with the introduction of a new route between Bilbao and Milan Malpensa. The service will run four times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays — with prices from €24.99.

A further Italian connection will follow on 12 May 2026, when Wizz Air begins flying between Palma de Mallorca and Naples. The route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with fares starting at €19.99.

Wizz Air currently operates more than 130 routes from Spain to 31 destinations across 16 countries. In 2025, the airline flew more than 44,000 services to and from Spain, carrying close to 10 million passengers and achieving a flight completion rate of 99.85 per cent, one of the highest in the aviation sector.
