Sally Gunnell, Britain's legendary Olympic hurdler, will take centre stage at the closing session of ABTA's Travel Convention in Mallorca, bringing her unique perspective on success and resilience to the travel industry gathering.

The convention, taking place on 6-8 October at the Melia Calvia Beach Resort, will feature a compelling fireside chat between Gunnell and Jo Rzymowska, founder of Jovolution. Gunnell's remarkable achievement as the only woman to simultaneously hold Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth titles in the 400m hurdles makes her uniquely qualified to discuss how "in both life and travel, the journey can be just as valuable as the destination."

Since hanging up her competitive spikes, Gunnell has established herself as a prominent television presenter and wellbeing advocate, whilst Rzymowska brings her extensive travel industry expertise as a Hays Travel non-executive director and former Royal Caribbean Group executive.

Stephen Daltrey, a distinguished counsellor and Gestalt psychotherapist, will lead a dedicated wellbeing session addressing the increasingly blurred work-life boundaries facing industry professionals. Delegates will receive practical guidance on maintaining mental health, with one-to-one consultations available throughout the event.
